Bring YourUnit is an ice hockey conditioning camp for pee-wees, bantams, midgets, high school, and women's hockey levels. The camp seeks to improve players in the power play and penalty kill units as well as in extra-man situations, regrouping, and other system-oriented on-ice scenarios. The athlete will receive concrete on-ice and off-ice conditioning that will improve his/her game. Ultimately, this type of camp can make coaching these units a little easier during the in-season, especially for teams that have a limited amount of ice time. The camp will hold at least 4 coaches. Flyers are located at various rinks around the Greater Boston Area. The registration form and prices are below. If you have any issues with registration, please contact email@example.com. Spread the word to your youth hockey coaches and teams.
Why the name, "Bring Your Unit" - As some ice hockey contingents know, the term, "unit" refers to the power play (PP) and penalty kill (PK) units. The PP and PK are only two very important special teams units that need attention in order for a team and for players to be efficient hockey players. Of course, every player is not included on the PP or PK; but every skater does regroup, forecheck, backcheck, and needs sound on-ice and off-ice conditioning to improve these rolls:
